Steven T. Swager, DMD

Dr. Swager received his dental degree from Washington University, St Louis Dental School in 1985 and his endodontic specialty training from the University of Southern California in 2004.

 

He was a general dentist in private practice for 17 years in Anchorage, Alaska before relocating to USC in 2002, to specialize in endodontics. 

 

Dr. Swager is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. To obtain board certification he has completed an extensive set of examinations and interviews designed to test exceptional knowledge, skill, and expertise in the specialty of endodontics. Currently, only 23% of endodontists practicing in the U.S. have attained diplomate status.

 

He is also a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Arizona Endodontic Association, and Christian Dental Society. He is a past-president of the Central Arizona Dental Society, serving from 2012-2013. He has been named one of the Valley's Top Endodontists in Phoenix Magazine's Top Dentists Annual Edition.

 

He has been actively involved with The Neighborhood Christian Clinic since 2009.

 

Dr. Swager loves spending time with his family and dog.   His favorite sport is golf and he enjoys running.  In 2017, he completed his first half-marathon;  in the next two years he completed three marathons!
